Israel’s 13 Channel revealed a secret meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the Israeli enemy entity and Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in September.
The channel quoted an unnamed entity official as saying that the two sides discussed during the meeting “the normalization of relations between the two countries and the joint struggle against Iran.”
The Israeli official also revealed that Netanyahu tried to “promote” the visit to Morocco, but that his efforts failed.
While Netanyahu’s office did not deny the report, he refused to make any statement, saying: “We do not comment on contacts with countries with which we do not have official relations.”
According to Israeli media, Netanyahu was expected to visit Morocco in March, but Rabat requested a postponement of the visit. – Agency
