The Hamas Movement has affirmed that the leadership of Fatah rebuffed a proposal made by an Arab head of state to hold an important meeting in his country to explore ways to confront the US deal of the century.

In a press release on Monday, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said that his Movement had received an invitation from an Arab leader to attend a meeting he intends to hold against the deal of the century.

Abu Zuhri added that Hamas welcomed such initiative and agreed to attend the meeting, but it was told that Fatah rejected the idea.

The spokesman said that such position reflected that Fatah still suffers from successive setbacks as a result of the language of arrogance it uses at home and the language of political begging and adolescence it uses abroad.
